Unity Without Uniformity
Echad is the Hebrew word for, “one.” As a movement, the Ehhad is an interfaith cooperative that serves to bring dialogue and unity between people of different Abrahamic beliefs. The aim is to initiate openness and thoughtfulness as a means toward reconciliation, creating a counter-narrative that is usually experienced in religious conflicts.
For he is our peace, the one who made both groups into one and who destroyed the middle wall of partition... He did this to create in himself one new man out of two, thus making peace, and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which the hostility has been killed. Ephesians 2:14-16
For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning tourch. Isaiah 62:1
