Our Statement of Faith
We Believe…
1. There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer. He is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent - one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
2. The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. The scriptures are to be interpreted according to their context and purpose and in reverent obedience to the Lord who speaks through them in living power.
3. Christ is God’s only begotten son. He will return again as King of Kings. We are the sons and daughters of our Lord whom He has delivered through salvation. All who believe in Jesus will not perish but have eternal life.
4. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and He is an abiding helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the biblical gifts of the Spirit.
5. We are to be stewards that fulfill the mission He has given us. We are all called to share our gifts, talents and fulfill our destiny in Him. We embrace the biblical government of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers.
6. We should come before our Lord in submission to all His statutes and commandments, to live a holy life and in humility to the abiding purpose of His authority and power. Having the mind of Christ, we only desire to do what the Father says to do.
7. In observing the Sabbath as a time of worship, rest and refreshing. Through our obedience of honoring the Lord, we set our hearts on building an intimate relationship with Him.
8. In being a community of believers that seek God and His Kingdom first. Our culture is characterized by worship, the presence of God, our love for others and our commitment and care for our fellowship.
9. God's presence is actively invigorating all of existence and is purposefully guiding and orchestrating reality in all its various details.
